you go during the week. Think of all the people you drive past on the way to the store, the people we see on our television every day, the models on our Hollister and Buckle bags (that might I add have SO much makeup clogged on their faces and bodies that if they were to take a shower they would lose 5 pounds, and not to mention those editors who spent all night to get that new bag cover edited so much there blue-gray eyes would all of a sudden shine like the ocean south of Miami, then lose an instant 10 pounds, gain 4 of the 6 abs that seem to be so worked into their stomach, and get some killer Colombian tan on their skin so pale they were having to dull the camera flashes…) All of these people we see everyday have one thing in common. There flaws.
You may be sitting there telling yourself “oh yeah, well… Look at Jessica Simpson on that proactive commercial! She has PERFECT skin! Look at mine, it is covered in acne” well… what I have to say about that is why don’t you step back in the mirror and look at all the great things about you, or zoom that screen in a little farther until you catch Jessica’s square chin… what was that? A flaw. (No offense Jessica.. Making a point…) or “look, I am 20
pounds overweight…” What you should do is run into school the next day showing off those curves!!! If there is one thing I am getting at with this entire blog it would have to be "better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without." You are so special for you.
Everyone has flaws, but not everyone has yet learned how to accept them. It is all about learning to see you beautiful being you. Whether it be your overweight or you have acne all over your face you need to come to the conclusion. You are beautiful just the way you are, and if people are to
blind and dumb to see that, then so be it. You ARE beautiful, to me and so many other people out there! Find someone to love you for YOU and nothing else! If you’re with someone that can’t love you for you, then who exactly are you? Life and love are not about trying to find the “perfect” person; it is about finding an imperfect person that is perfect for you.
